Suzanne Sandboe is an award-winning artist from the Peace Region who has been exhibiting and selling her artwork for the past 30 years and has participated in upwards of 100 shows. She is a Signature Member of the Federation of Canadian Artists and The Alberta Society of Artists. Suzanne’s work has been featured in several art magazines and she has also taught many workshops. Suzanne’s works are included in many public, private, and corporate collections internationally and throughout Canada including the Alberta Foundation for the Arts, the Government of Canada and Canadian actor Dan Ackroyd. Suzanne’s paintings are inspired by the beautiful Canadian landscape, Canadian people and their history, a common thread that runs through her work, and more recently from her travels internationally. Working in acrylic and watercolor, Suzanne shares her vision of our magnificent country with majestic landscapes and intimate scenes that create a story and bring the viewer to another place and another time or invoke a memory from the viewer’s past. Suzanne’s paintings are often said to portray a tranquil, peaceful and reflective feeling.
