Wendy Johnsen is a central Alberta artist inspired by the mountains, forests, and beautiful vistas around her. Wendy loves to travel and paint the landscapes she comes across. She loves to challenge herself through participation in art battles, art shows, and teaching workshops. Wendy was included as one of the artists showcased in the March issue of 2021 Arabella Magazine. Wendy had art training by David Goatles, Nancy O’Toole, Michael O’Toole, and Mike Svob. She is a Member of the Federation of Canadian Artists. Wendy works mostly in acrylic paint. Her paintings are vivid, colourful, and they celebrate the majesty of the Canadian landscape. Wendy has had many exhibitions across Canada and her paintings can be found in numerous private collections.
